This tour is recommend for those who wish to have more time available after the tour is over to look around the musuems a bit more by yourself. The guide will assist you in bypassing the long morning ticket lines, and give you a guided tour of a selection of the museums, including the Raphael Rooms and culminating in the Sistine Chapel. From there, you can continue to tour the museums yourself, or stay as long as you like in the Sistine Chapel.

Option 2: Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel Afternoon Tour.

Tour Duration: 3.5 hours

This tour is recommend for those who wish to have a more detailed tour of the Vatican, and includes a visit to St Peters Basilica. As the tour is in the afternoon, when the museums are less crowded and there are no lines, it is not necessary to book special entry as we walk straight in and buy the tickets at the entry point without delay or unnecessary expense for you.

Please be advised that this tour involves more walking than the morning tour, and you do not have the option to stay in the Sistine Chapel or to see more of the museums after the tour, as we exit that area to visit St Peters Basilica.

In the event that St Peters Basilica is closed on the day of your tour, the tour will be reduced to 3 hours, culminating in the Sistine Chapel, and we will refund €10 per person from your tour fee.
