On this stroll through Rome's Historic Centre you will cross paths with locals going about their busy days, while you visit some of the most important emblems of the city.

Campo de’ Fiori - a celebrated and picturesque market by day quickly turns into a hub for nightlifers in the evening. The piazza, in the morning heaving with people bustling among the fruit and vegetable stands, at night sees its restaurants and bars open for business.

Piazza Navona is Rome's most elongated piazza, and also its most ornate - with decorative fountains and a church from the Baroque era. It also hides a delightful surprise beneath it!

The Pantheon is the oldest-surviving temple from Imperial Rome, standing unrestored for over 18 centuries.

The Quirinal Palace is located on top of the highest of the seven hills of Rome, it was for just under three centuries the summer residence of the popes prior to becoming in 1870 the palace to the King of Italy and after 1946 the seat of Presidents of the Republic.

The Trevi Fountain is probably Rome's most iconic fountain, and is a must-see for those with romance in their hearts! This monument, too, has a surprising connection to Rome's ancient past.

The Spanish Steps complete this visit to the Historic Centre, and provide yet another opportunity for a special photograph.

Note

  • Why book a private tour?
Do you have a wheelchair, or child stroller? No problem for us on a private tour, as we do not have to consider other people as would be the case on a group tour, but do please advise us of this in the comments section when making your booking, as the guide does need to plan to use elevators and the best route for you.
  •  ARRIVE ON TIME

As your booking confirmation will be automatically sent to the email address you provide us with at the booking stage, it is advised that you use a personal, rather than work, email address. Many companies' firewalls block our emails, and it may also be necessary to contact you when you are in Rome, which we will not be able to do if you do not have access to your work email.
