Why this tour
- Inside the Colosseum (standard route, incl. second level)
- Roman Forum highlights and panoramic Palatine Hill
- Private guide who adapts pace and focus to you
- Reserved, timed entry tickets included
Access upgrades (on request)
Arena Floor (often available)
Full Experience (recommended): Arena floor + standard interior (incl. 2nd level) via the main entrance.
Express (arena-only): Direct Arena gate with expedited security, 20 minutes on the floor, no access to upper levels/interior; you then continue to the Forum & Palatine.
How we confirm: We request Full first. If not issued, we’ll offer Express (when available) or revert to Standard. Any supplement is removed if an upgrade isn’t granted.
Underground (extremely limited)
Very small monthly allocation (usually 2–3 tours/month), so most requests aren’t confirmed. If your priority is increased access, Arena is far more likely.
If granted, the tour runs about 30 minutes longer.
Upgrades are request-only. If an upgrade isn’t granted for your date, your tour runs as the Standard route and any upgrade supplement is removed automatically.

How customisation works
After you request your date, we personally follow up by WhatsApp or email to fine-tune the tour to your pace and interests. If you prefer to spend more time in the Forum (or skip Palatine Hill), just say so—we’ll adjust the route and timing. We’ll also confirm any access upgrades (Arena or Underground) if they’re granted for your date.
FAQs
How likely are upgrades?
Arena is often available. Underground has a very small monthly allocation (usually 2–3 tours/month), so most requests aren’t confirmed. If your priority is increased access, Arena is far more likely.
What happens if an upgrade isn’t confirmed?
Your tour runs as the Standard route and any upgrade supplement is removed automatically.
Can we skip Palatine Hill or adjust the focus?
Yes. After you request your date, we follow up by WhatsApp or email to tailor the route (e.g., more Forum, less Palatine) to your pace and interests.
Are tickets included and do we “skip the line”?
Tickets are included and issued as named, timed reservations. You enter at your assigned time; only the security check is shared.
