Meeting Points
For almost all of our tours, we meet at a clear, central meeting point near the site you’re visiting.
This keeps things simple, avoids traffic delays in narrow streets, and makes it easier to start the tour smoothly and on time.
After booking, we’ll send you the exact meeting point details and a Google Maps pin, so there’s no guesswork.
Please arrive early
Most major sites in Rome operate with named, timed-entry tickets.
If the entry time is missed, the site may refuse entry, and tickets are often non-refundable.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour start time so we can check in and enter together.
What to bring
Please bring:
Original photo ID (passport, driver’s licence, or national ID) for each participant
Comfortable walking shoes
A refillable water bottle (especially in warmer months)
For churches (including St Peter’s Basilica), please dress respectfully: shoulders and knees covered.
Hotel pick-up policy
By default, we do not offer hotel pick-up.
Meeting at a set point is usually faster, more reliable, and avoids unnecessary driving time.
If you have limited mobility, small children, or specific needs, let us know — and we’ll advise the best option for your group (and arrange private transport only when it genuinely helps).
Tours with a private driver
For tours that include a driver (for example, day trips or driving itineraries), the pick-up plan depends on the specific tour and logistics.
Your booking confirmation will always state clearly whether the tour starts at a meeting point or includes a pick-up.
Standard meeting points
Below are the meeting points we most commonly use. Your confirmation will always specify the correct one for your tour.
