Hello! I am Marle Robinson.
I was born and raised in South Africa. Since I was a child, I had a great love for all art forms, and can only be grateful to my parents that supported and encouraged this passion as they shared it. I went to a private all-girls high school that offered art – practical and history – so i have been painting and studying art history since school days.
I have a Bachelors degree in fine arts, focusing on the Renaissance. Every winter I follow courses courses on Ancient Rome, Early Christianity and Judaism. Rome is not called the Eternal City for nothing ! I have the great privilege to live here and be surrounded by incredible scholars that offer all kinds of courses.
I came to Italy 23 years ago, for 6 months, to see the art and go to the opera. Needless to say, I am still here! I studied ceramics on the Amalfi coast during my years living in Naples; as a painter I loved studying this new art form. I moved to Rome 13 years ago and have been working as a guide ever since. I am a legal guide and absolutely love what I do. I can share my passion for art and history with all the wonderful people that come on tours and would like to know more.
I thank them all for wanting to share in this experience of incredible Rome.

My name is Niccolò Arcangeli. I’m a licensed tour guide of Rome with a Bachelors degree in Art and History. I also have a sommelier certificate from A.I.S. (Italian Sommelier Association).
I was born and raised in Rome.
The first memory of the ‘Eternal City’ I have is a black and white picture of my great grandparents in Trastevere during World War I. It was a sunny winter’s day, they were dressed in heavy clothes and you could see their hope for a better life from the expression in their faces.
My grandfather went on to become the driver for the King of Italy, and my father lived in the Royal Palace on the Quirinale Hill. When I came into the picture, my mother took me to Rome and I was fascinated to hear the stories from the city.
Rome is my passion and I’m lucky to live here. I know the ins and outs of it and love nothing more than to share it’s rich history with you.

I’m Andrea Domini. I’m a licensed tour guide of Rome with a Bachelors degree in Art and History with a focus on Roman Renaissance Art.
I was born and raised in Rome. My passion for art started when I was a teenager thanks to the lectures of art history I took throughout high school. I love art history and studying paintings throughout the ages.
My love for Rome’s amazing art was ignited from a young age by my father who took us to Trastevere and the Jewish quarter regularly. I now live in this lively, welcoming neighbourhood and highly recommend visitors to explore it too.
As a tour guide, I have the ability to unravel the many different historical layers of this wonderful city in an entertaining, interesting way that you’re guaranteed to enjoy.

My name is Gerard Breen, I am the manager of Real Rome Tours. I have been living in Rome since moving here from Ireland in 2007 and fell in love with the romantic city from the very beginning, a love that has not waned with time!
Running a tour guide company in Rome is never boring, but always vibrant and often a lot of fun! I get to combine my great passions of talking about history and meeting with people from all walks of life, so as the saying goes, when you get paid for doing something you love, you don’t work a day in your life!

Hello, my name is Joseph Cileo. I’m an American living here in Rome, coming up on the third year of my studies. I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of living in Italy. I remember being a child and hearing my father tell stories about his father and how the family ended up in America from Italy.
The desire to travel here and see what it’s all about was thus planted in my mind at an early age, and so far it has been one of the best decisions of my entire life. Being able to walk down any street here and stumble upon something amazing never gets old. Working as a tour coordinator with Real Rome Tours enables me to do what I love – meet people from all over the world and learn more about different people and cultures.
I also love helping people, and doing this with Rome as a backdrop is just a dream!
